Nos. 1-14 rebuilt to totally-enclosed in 1925-1926 using English Electric top-covers; re-seated to 48/32 and re-trucked with EE Burnley bogies at the same time.
Nos. 16, 18-28 were fitted with balcony top-covers in 1905-1906. [Six by United Electric Co., of Preston, and six by Wilson and Stockall, of Bury].
Nos. 15, 17 had balcony top-covers fitted by Wilson and Stockall in 1909.
Nos. 15, 21 and two others (numbers unknown) were rebuilt totally-enclosed by Bury Corporation around 1926. The two unknown cars were re-numbered 30 and 38. All were re-seated to 36/22.
Withdrawn 1933 (23, 27-28), 1939 (16-20, 22, 24-26), 1943 (21), 1946 (30[??]), by 1949 (1-14, 15, 38[??]).
